Industry Sectors
Software built for your industry
Prophecius builds software for the industries where technology decides the outcome. Across delivery, mobility, health, commerce, finance and media, we design and engineer the platforms, apps and operational systems these businesses run on.
Why sector matters
The stack is general. The problem never is.
Two products can share the same framework, the same database and the same cloud bill and still fail for completely different reasons. A delivery platform dies on dispatch latency. A lending app dies on a reconciliation mismatch nobody caught for six weeks. We have spent seven years building in these categories, so the failure modes are not a surprise to us.
We learn the domain first
A dispatch engine, a claims flow and a class roster are not the same problem wearing different labels. Before anything is designed we map how your sector actually moves money, stock, people and permissions.
Built for the load it will meet
Peak-hour ordering, month-end settlement, exam-day traffic. We architect for the spike your industry already knows is coming, not for the average of a quiet Tuesday.
Integrated with what you run
Payments, KYC, maps and routing, EMR, POS, logistics partners, marketplaces and the ERP you cannot replace. The integration surface is designed in from day one, never bolted on at the end.
Handed over, not walked away from
Admin tooling your own team can operate, documentation that matches the code, and analytics wired to the numbers your board actually asks about.
Where we work
Twenty-seven sectors, seven families of problem.
The full list runs long, so here is the shape of it. Sectors are grouped by the engineering they actually share - pick the family closest to what you are building and follow it through to the detail.
Delivery & on-demand
Order capture, live dispatch, rider and driver apps, dynamic pricing and the ops console that keeps a delivery fleet moving when a promo lands and volume triples in an hour.
Mobility & logistics
Matching, routing and ETA accuracy on one side; fleet, freight, warehousing and proof of delivery on the other. Both live or die on map data, driver experience and settlement that reconciles cleanly.
Health, fitness & wellness
Clinical and consumer health share one hard constraint: sensitive data, audited access and rules that differ by country. We build consultation, prescription, tracking and habit products that hold up to that.
Commerce & marketplaces
Catalogue, search, checkout and returns for a single brand, or supply, trust, ratings and payouts for a two-sided market. Both need a storefront that stays fast as the catalogue and the traffic grow.
Finance & insurance
Onboarding and KYC, ledgers that balance, wallets, disbursement, underwriting and claims. Regulated work where the audit trail, idempotency and reconciliation matter more than the animation on the dashboard.
Media, social & play
Streaming and feeds at one end, real-money contests and odds at the other. Shared problems: encoding and delivery cost, moderation, recommendation, and holding state straight for a lot of people at once.
Enterprise, property & education
The systems a business runs on rather than sells: pipelines and records, inventory and finance, listings and site visits, cohorts and coursework. Long-lived software, built to be maintained by your team.
No matter where your business operates or what challenges you face, our team is ready to help. If you’re unsure which sector your needs fit into or you’re exploring new territory, just reach out - we’ll help guide you to the right insights.
Before you ask
The questions we get every week.
You list 27 sectors. Are you actually specialists in all of them?
No, and nobody is. What carries across all 27 is the engineering: the same team has shipped dispatch, payments, streaming, KYC and scheduling systems, so the hard parts are familiar. What we do not assume is your business. Every engagement starts with your workflows, your regulations and your existing systems, which is exactly why the sector pages read differently from each other.
My industry is not on the list. Does that rule us out?
Not at all. The 27 pages are the work we have done most often, not the boundary of what we take on. If your product moves money, matches supply to demand, schedules people or serves content at scale, the underlying problems will be recognisable. Tell us what you are building and we will be straight about whether we are the right team.
What do you actually build?
Web platforms, iOS and Android apps, AI features and agents, blockchain systems, e-commerce builds, CMS and headless content setups, UI/UX design, and the digital marketing that puts traffic through the result. Most projects use several of those together rather than one in isolation.
Do you work with startups or only established companies?
Both, and the difference shows in scope rather than quality. A pre-seed team usually needs a sharp, defensible v1 in weeks. An established operator usually needs new capability threaded through systems that cannot go down. The same senior people run either.
How do you handle compliance in regulated sectors?
We treat it as an architecture problem, not a checklist at the end. Data residency, access control, consent, retention and audit logging get designed in at the modelling stage, and we work to your compliance advisors rather than around them.
What does an engagement look like?
A short discovery to map the domain and agree what success means in numbers, then design and build in reviewable increments so you see working software early. You get the admin tooling and documentation to run it, and we stay on for the period after launch, when the real usage patterns actually show up.
